With over 80 dogs (special needs abandoned or who came ill & never found a home), a bull, a donkey and over 50 birds at Sharnagat – a registered trust.
While most kids are now grown and permanent here, some are up for adoption. These include adorable puppies ranging from 40 days to 6 months. Out of these, some were dumped in a sack, some were thrown to die while some were premature n needed 24/7 special care.
All our adult dogs are happy and friendly. With good food, exercise, playtime, and personal attention I see those who came with a broken spirit rise and turn into confident and secure beings.
This is the magic I witness all the time.
Our Vision
Sharnagat is the song of my heart, the call of my soul. It is a sanctuary for animals who have been abused, neglected, and abandoned. We, at Sharnagat, aspire to provide a healing platform for our animal friends by giving them a decent living, the utmost care and, heaps of fun time infused with boundless love.
We pledge to honour, protect and love life in all forms. We aspire to be a voice for the voiceless and a light for those in darkness. We wish to colour their days with the warmth of our love and bring the magic of bliss into the hearts of the forgotten, abused and abandoned. Our big jovial family at Sharnagat is full of happy hearts and wagging tails.
